Investing in therapy is an investment in honoring your own needs, something that often gets pushed aside while caring for everyone and everything else. My hope is to make the financial side clear and straightforward so you can focus on what matters more: taking space for yourself.

Insurance

I believe in complete financial transparency so you can focus entirely on your care. While I verify your insurance benefits prior to your first appointment and can share an estimate of your coverage upon request, coverage ultimate depends on your individual policy. I always recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your specific copay and deductible details.

North Carolina

Commercial Insurance: Blue Cross Blue Shield NC, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare / Optum, Cigna, and Carelon

*Please note: Certain insurance plans are billed and managed in partnership with Alma. If your coverage falls under one of these contracts, you will receive an email invitation to set up a quick account in the Alma Client Portal for streamlined billing and benefit verification.

Out-of-Network & Superbills

If Selah Therapy Collective, PLLC is not currently in-network with your specific insurance plan, you may still be able to utilize your out-of-network mental health benefits. Many insurance providers offer partial reimbursement for therapy services received out-of-network.

How Out-Of-Network Reimbursment Works

Upfront Payment: You pay the full session rate directly to Selah Therapy Collective, PLLC at the time of your appointment.

Monthly Superbills: At the end of each moth, I can provide you with an itemized document called a Superbly. This includes all required diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and provider detials

Claim Submission: You can submit the Superbill directly to your insurance company (via their member portal, mail, or claim app) for potential out-of-pocket reimbursement based on your plans' out-of-network benefits.

*We recommend reaching out directly to your insurance provider prior to your first session to confirm your out-of-network deductible and reimbursement rates.

Self-Pay Rates

For clients who choose not to utilize insurance benefits, self-pay offers complete privacy, flexibility in how care is structured, and full control over the pace and duration of your therapeutic journey.

Standard Session Fees

Intake Appointment: $200
Individual Therapy Session: $135

*Payment is collected automatically at the time of service via secure credit card processing.

In compliance with the No Surprises Act, private-pay and out-of-network clients have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate.
